Common questions

Where are my notes stored?
On your device, and — if you have iCloud enabled — in your own private iCloud account, so they stay in sync across your iPhone and Mac. They never touch my servers.

My notes aren't syncing between devices.
Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account on both devices and that iCloud Drive is turned on (Settings → your name → iCloud). Sync can take a moment after a note changes. If it's still stuck, email me.

I deleted a note by mistake.
Deleting a note removes it from your device and, through iCloud, from your other devices. Skratch doesn't keep a separate copy, so deletions are permanent — please delete carefully.

How many pages does Skratch have?
Five. The moon-phase dots at the bottom keep your place as you swipe between them.

Can I change the paper?
Yes — open Settings inside the app and choose blank, dotted, ruled, or squared.

Is my writing private?
Completely. There are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.
